第3回は、人間関係、恋愛、SNS の文脈で使われる表現。

このカテゴリは、相手を評価する表現が多い。red flag, pick-me, simp, delulu などは、冗談でも相手を傷つけることがある。まずは理解語彙として覚える。

tea は「裏話」「ゴシップ」。

spill the tea は「話して」「暴露して」。

Spill the tea. Why did they break up?

receipts は「証拠」。ネットではスクショやログの意味で使われやすい。

If you're going to say that, show the receipts.

ghost は急に返信しなくなること。

She ghosted the group chat.

soft launch は、恋人や新しい関係をはっきり言わずに匂わせる投稿。

He soft-launched someone on Instagram.

hard launch は、はっきり公開すること。

They hard-launched their relationship.

red flag は危険サイン。green flag は良いサイン。

Being rude to staff is a red flag.
Being kind under pressure is a green flag.

ick は、急に気持ちが冷めるポイント。

That message gave me the ick.

delulu は delusional から来た表現。現実的ではないことを、あえて信じるようなノリで使う。

I'm delulu, but I think I'll become fluent in a month.

軽い自虐なら使えるが、相手に向けて言うと失礼になりやすい。
